David Hatcher Childress - Travels in Europe included trips to Wales and Scotland, including the Stone of Destiny which is now kept in the Royal Scottish Museum, and to France and Spain to visit the unusual Basque areas of the Pyranees. We visited the strange alchemical cross at Hendaye in the French Basque area and stayed for several days at a bed and breakfast in the Spanish Basque town of San Sebastian. San Sebastian is where the popular Spanish cuisine of tapas originated, which the Basque call pinxo.

We are planning our next big WEX trip for early next year. Give the WEX headquarters a call if you are interested or have some suggestions!

WEX Club Tours
Check out the World Explorers Club at www.wexclub.com They don't do many European tours, but their trips are quite interesting from an archeological perspective. Check out David Hatcher Childress' 'Lost Cities' series of travel books and you'll get the feel of his WEX trips. Rick and David are my favorite and only travel guides.
